We have 61 young people in our youth program and there are already 38 children registered, ages 6-11.
Billy Huddleston was our preacher for the evening in the adult service. Billy began with the words from an old gospel song:Touching Jesus is all that really matters,
Then your life will never be the same.
There is only one way to touch Him,
Just believe when you call on His name.
He pointed out that during this encampment, the only thing that really matters is touching Jesus. He then dramatically related three stories from the Gospel of Luke, Jesus touching the leper, the woman with the hemorrage for 12 years who reached out to touch the hem of Jesus' garment, and the healing of blind Bartimaeus. He stated three simple, yet profound truths about Jesus:
1) He is here.
2) He cares.
3) He is able to do whatever needs to be done in your life.
Thank for your prayers for this 104th encampment! If you are in the area please make plans to come be with us. A complete schedule can be found on the Sebring Camp web site: http://www.sebringcamp.org/.
